In early 2015, Manchester based dental practice KS Dental got in touch with us after seeing a post we had written about website design on the local social network Street Life.

With two dental practices located in Sale and Urmston (local to Becs!) KS Dental already had a website but they wanted something which was more exciting and engaging for their online presence.

After have a couple of quick chats with Annemarie from KS Dental, we started work on building them a brand new website (teeth graphics 'n all). From copywriting to the overall design, page build, SEO and re-directing the domain - everything was done within 3 weeks.

Here is some of our copywriting in action:

"Our dental practice offers a wide range of services from routine dental treatments to cosmetic dentistry including implants, teeth whitening, veneers, bridges and more.

Located in Sale, Greater Manchester, we pride ourselves on giving a warm, friendly and welcoming service to all of our clients."

We've really enjoyed working on this website, particularly as KS Dental gave us free reign to add some nice design features like the tooth puzzle graphic and the shiny tooth on the Teeth Whitening Page

This morning we're having a (very exciting) cup of tea and reading our copywriting work in the latest Matalan mailer that just popped through Becs' letter box!

Filled with great offers, lovely clothing and fresh looks for your home, the mailer goes out to 3.5 million Matalan Reward Card holders.

We're so proud and pleased to see our wording used in the mailer, it was a great piece of work which we really enjoyed doing (and we're a little bit in love with the Matalan homeware range). Keep your eyes peeled for more pieces of our Matalan copywriting work coming soon!

Back in November 2014 we were excited to be contacted by a dental practice based in Poynton, Stockport who needed their first ever website.

Although the practice had been operating very successfully since 2009, they had never needed an online presence - so when a new management team took over the practice in 2014 (and gave it the brand new name: TLC Dental!) they decided to launch the first ever website for the surgery.

Tina from TLC Dental got in touch with us in mid November and by the 5th December the new website was designed, built, content w ritten and ready to go!

The brief: Build a modern, clean and easy to navigate website with a family-friendly, professional feel and a clear description of the practice and their services.

We also wrote the wording on the TLC dental website:

"We're all about providing dental care with a personal touch. Our dental practice is family friendly, we provide dental treatments tailored to your requirements and we are dedicated to giving you confidence in your smile."

After a few final tweaks added by Tina (following a training session by Becs on editing the new website!) we are proud that the TLC Dental website has launched today!

TLC Dental are a lovely dental practice who have been great to work with - the delight of a very clear brief!!

We are fond to a glass of wine (or two), therefore it was certainly very easy for us to get excited about developing a brand, website and doing the copywriting for our latest start-up client...

Let us introduce the brand new fantastic wine tasting business: Proviamo Vino!

The brief: Develop a logo and a website for a brand new business who are all about fun, flexible wine tastings. The essence of the brand and website was to be down-to-earth, conversational, friendly, relaxed and all about wine.

Here is some of our wording:

"Down-to-earth wine tastings which are totally tailored to your requirements...

Translate 'Proviamo Vino' into English and you get our ethos: ‘Let’s Try Wine’...

We believe that everyone should drink wine that's worth tasting. That’s why we offer fun, dynamic wine tastings that are all about trying wines that you can actually find on the shelves at your local supermarket.

Quite simply - our passion is to bring supermarket wines to life and help you find fantastic wine which you can buy directly off the shelf."

A perfect wine-filled activity for a Christmas-do, Birthday party, or even a girly Saturday afternoon!

There's not many things we love better than helping a start-up company find their voice, develop a fantastic look and feel for their brand and launch a website they can be really proud of!

Today we have launched the website for Surrey's Little Talkers - a brand new company providing speech and language therapy services for children aged two and upwards in the North and East Surrey area.

The brief: Use the Surrey's Little Talkers logo to design and develop an engaging, friendly and professional website with lots of personality and unique touches.

We have loved working on this website with Fiona from Surrey's Little Talkers! Even though we aren't local to Surrey (as we're both based up North) we have held Skype conference calls throughout the project and feel like we have really got to know Fiona even though we have never actually met (in person!).

Take a look at the Surrey's Little Talkers website:

www.surreyslittletalkers.co.uk

We would highly recommend Surrey's Little Talkers if you are looking for a children's speech therapist in the North and East Surrey area!

Are you a start-up company or someone thinking of starting a brand new business? Make sure your website really engages your target audience and showcases your company in the best way possible.

Don't settle for a generic template website design... work with Fi & Becs to get a totally bespoke website designed and copywritten just for your company!

P.s. Even though we are Northerners we can work with companies based all over the UK.

Box Clever Hampers are a UK wide gift company who offer a stunning collection of sumptuous luxury hamper gifts. Filled with artisan food and drink their hampers provide a truly personal gift for individuals and corporate clients.

Fi & Becs were asked by Box Clever Hampers to design and launch a brand new e-commence website to replace their existing website which had an old fashioned design and was difficult to update.

The brief: a fresh, modern and genuinely British look / feel website to showcase their stunning collection of hamper gifts and allow customers to buy online easily and safely.

With some great features such as video content and gorgeous product photography (which we took!) - this website shows how a transactional shop website can look really unique and not like a boring template shop site!

We also wrote all of the copy on the website:

"Nestled within the picturesque Cheshire countryside, we take inspiration from our rural roots and delight in celebrating the very best of British produce."

"A quirky take on the traditional pub classic, our ‘Pie and a Pint’ is a scrumptious feast ideal for ale-lovers."

"Delight the lady in your life with our ‘Bubbles, Truffles and Treats’ - a delectable collection of indulgent goodies."

We are so pleased to develop and launch this website, their gifts are stunning and blooming delicious!!

Not many things give us more glee than seeing one of our client press releases getting fantastic coverage!

When our client Waugh Brow Farm Shop had their beloved chicken statue stolen we decided that action must be taken. We quickly (even though Becs was actually on holiday in foreign climes!) worked with Ruth Jones (owner of the farm) to put together a press release to help get their chicken back!

After lots of contacting local papers we were really pleased that the story was picked up by 4 local titles, featured on their websites (number 4 Most-Read story!) and was printed in the local papers!

This story was on page 3 (sure there's a joke in there somewhere about chicken breasts on page 3...)

Waugh Brow Farm is a family run farm shop near Knustford in Cheshire. With over 130 cattle, a handful of sheep, some pigs and a flock of chickens the farm shop is known for stocking deliciously fresh local produce and has been in operation since 1985.

We were asked by Waugh Brow Farm to develop a new logo and design a new website to replace their existing out of date marketing materials and website.

The brief: friendly, local, farm shop with delicious produce based on a real working farm.

We have adored building this website (moo!) and writing all of the wording:

"Here at Waugh Brow Farm Shop we've been providing scrumptious, fresh local produce and homemade goodies for over 25 years. Located in the moo-tiful Cheshire countryside near Knutsford we're a genuine family-run working farm (with the cows to prove it!).

Our lovely farm shop is a traditional Butchers but we also have a tasty deli counter, homecooked meals, seasonal fresh veg, a fabulous snack shack (offering tasty food, cakes, coffee and more) plus a farm yard fun area for the kiddies!"

Please visit and take a look around the farmy loveliness!
